Question by : What is some good electronic dance music? I like stuff like The Prodigy… but now I’m looking for something with not many words and a heavy bass beat that makes you want to dance.

What are the signature sounds of electronic dance music?

Question by Deeper Tempest: What are the signature sounds of electronic dance music? The genres of electronic dance music aren’t easily classified as I thought. I know the sounds of trance, big beat, & drum n’ bass very well but other genres like house, techno, & electronica almost sound alike. Name some tracks that have the pure, signature sounds of each genre, even if some are fusion genres like tech trance or drill n’ bass.
P.S. Don’t bother answering the question if you hate EDM. Some people think the entire umbrella of EDM is gay, which is ignorant.
