Are you fed up with the printer informing you that the cartridge is out of ink when you know there is ink left inside? Do you want to home refill your cartridges but don't want to have to reset the chip on the cartridge everytime it runs out? There is a solution and this is it...
The auto reset chip clips onto the cartridge in exactly the same way as the existing chip and is identical in size so you could transfer it onto any cartridge (note this chip will NOT fit onto the Epson and HP original cartridges for standard desktop printers due to the size of a processor on the back of the chip, but will fit any compatible brand or our own range of empty refillable cartridges. The auto reset chip for the large format Epson printers (e.g. Epson 7600, 9000, 9600, 10600) WILL fit onto the original Epson and HP cartridge as these cartridges are much larger and can accomodate the chip). The chip works much the same way as any standard chip except that when you turn the printer off and then switch it back on again the level indicators of your cartridges are back to full again. Simple!
The auto reset chips work slightly differently on the wide format printers - with these, the ink level does go down, but then when you get to 5% and the red light starts flashing, all you need to do is toggle the ink lever (the one which unlocks the cartridges) and they read full again.
