Hello. I am a retired man and live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in a golf community. I am looking into buying a nice car. I have narrowed my selection down to three cars, but I’m stuck as to which one I should purchase. Keep in mind, money is not a problem for me, and I can afford any of these cars.
1. Maserati Gran Turismo S
0-60mph 4.5 seconds
top speed of 183 mph
This car looks very classy and elegant, yet also very aggressive. The speed is okay, not too overwhelming, which is a downside.
2. The Lamborghini Gallardo
0-60mph- 3.4 seconds
Top speed- 202 mph.
This car looks fantastic. It is also very, very fast. The problem is, I am very tall, and it is hard getting in and out of the car. Also, I feel squished inside the cockpit.
3. The Audi R8 V10
0-60 mph 3.6 seconds
Top Speed- 196 mph
This car looks classy, aggressive, and sporty. It is still really fast even though it is not as fast as the Gallardo. It takes .2 seconds faster to get to 60mph, and is only behind 6mph in top speed. This car is roomier, easier to get into than the Gallardo, and still feels very fast.
Keep in mind, I am one of the younger people in the community (in my mid 40s). Which car should I purchase?
If I were going for looks-Gran Turismo S
If I were going for speed- Gallardo
If I were going for gadgets and ease of use-R8 V10.
I love all of these cars a lot. Which one would you pick?

I would choose the Audi R8. I love the look of this car and from your descriptions, it seems it’s the all-around best choice for the speed and looks.

None of them.
The Corvette ZR1 refinement, craftsmanship and performance easily beats all three. The Germans and Italians can only dream of being half as great as anything made by America. All the Germans and Italians can do is imitate American, never lead.

my pick would be the r8, they are extremely sexy cars and are pretty rare. you will have all the performance you could want and the bonus of easy drivability.

none of the mentioned cars – it would HAVE to be the latest Jaguar convertible or the XK Jaguar – Much Classier – HEAPS of power – All round perfect old mans car with money
i also enjoyed molloscum on purchase of my jaguar – transferred through the seat material.

Its the fastest and sexiest car in your options. As you are tall, you have to get used to it! Compromise!

in my opinion none, just get a 2011 zr1 its alot less money then the mentioned cars at 106k$ , and on top of that it gets to 60 in just 3.3 seconds and tops out at 205mph, thats quicker and faster than the gallardo plus im pretty sure its more roomy than the gallardo, definatly just at least check one out

I would recommend getting the Audi R8 out of those cars because of their overall performance. Although, another car you should look into would be an Aston Martin One-77, they look extremely nice, and their performance are amazing. Here are some other choices as well: Nissan GT-R, Ferrari F430, Bentley GT, Lotus Evora, Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren and the Lamborghini Reventón.

if money is not the answer how about the new porsche 911tt or the nissan gtr?you want bang for your buck?these cars are both great,and well if you take the gtr you’ll have money left over for goodies(aftermarket parts)or simply get the new mustang 5.0(450hp for less than 45k)not bad huh?throw a couple of grand and a lambo or massi or audi wont be shoot compared to the five o,ladies dig beemers the new m3 is sick,just my opinion.

Ferrari makes classier cars than Lamborghini does. Always consider Ferrari before Lamborghini.
Audi isn’t as well established as Mercedes or BMW in styling even though they all have similar racing backgrounds. Consider Mercedes or BMW before Audi.
Maserati is recognized only by the few that know of it as a true Italian sports car brand. The key word is few.
I would go for the Maserati.

The decision really comes down to whatever fits you best, we can’t help you buy a car but we can give suggestions.
My choice of those three would be the Lamborghini. But as you said, money is not a problem. So in that case, I’d get a Lamborghini Murcielago. For performance.
But…
The car I’d rather get is a Ford Mustang GT500 Shelby. It’s not for the performance or price, but simply, because it is practical. I don’t really need a race car, I only want a car that will fit my needs.

If you want to attract chicks, get the Audi or the Gran Turismo. If you want SPEED, I suggest you get the Gallardo.

i would personaly if i was gonna pick a foriegn car and money was no matter and u want to show off it then go str8 to a ferrari conv. but if u want power for american roads then stick wit american because all tht foriegn power was ment to stay foriegn american muscle was built to ride in usa and another problem it forien cars is u can only drive in certain places because the cars r low to the ground but for where u live its perfectly fine but id go on what ure looking to drive a roomy car,a fast car,or a long distance driveing car

It depends if you want more of a sports car or a sport-luxury car. For a sports car, get the Gallardo. For more of a luxury car, get the Maserati. Whatever you’re looking for, don’t get the R8. It’s not a luxury car and in terms of sports cars, it’s sub par.
By the way, the R8 doesn’t even look good (but that’s just my opinion).
