Last year i wanted to go in Egypt but a lot of friends (girl) told me that men chat up (flirt ?) tooooooo much.
Is that true ?
(Of course i have nothing against egyptians )

i dont know i plan on going to israel alone, in away i think about getting robbed, or even kidnapped, because im young and american…..for a woman its alot different lol cover yourself up…. lol youll be fine

yeap safe…but u better come with someone a friend or anything..or if u intend to come alone then better be with touristic group..
if u wear hot clothes then yeah u will get some starings and flirts like everywhere else…otherwise it’s pretty safe so don’t worry about it!!

Egypt was scandalised last summer when an 11-year-old girl named Hend Farghali was allegedly raped by a 21-year-old man. Petrified, the girl did not tell anyone until she was five months pregnant.
Hend is one of 20,000 women or girls raped every year, according to Egypt’s Interior Ministry, a figure which implies that an average of about 55 women are raped every day. However, owing to the fear of social disgrace, victims are reluctant to report cases, and experts say the number may be much higher.
Rape statistics are notoriously problematic, partly because there is no precise, universally agreed definition of the crime of rape. In Egypt, for example, spousal rape is not illegal. “The law prohibits non-spousal rape and punishment ranges from three years to life imprisonment; however, spousal rape is not illegal,” says a US State Department country report for Egypt dated March 2006.
For a western I would advise hiring an armed guard or avoid going to Egypt completely

Yeah it’s safe, however as everyone said, if you’re with a group of friends (girls), get ready to be flirted at the whole time, lol, but don’t worry, nothing happens, it’s safe, we are nice people.
Anyways, if you’re in the hotel or with a touristic group, etc.. no one will flirt with you since there won’t be any Egyptians there, all tourists, but if you’re like walking on the street, you will get flirts, but not to worry about.

Egypt is absolutely safe for a woman to travel alone .
i travel a lot on my own and never have anything to complain about .
Egyptian men do not flirt toooooo much !

You’ll notice that in the welcoming commentaries of the proponents of travel within Egypt,
are the translucent warnings that every woman should heed before considering entering any country that embraces patriarchal philosophies to the degree present in most
Muslim / Islamic cultures.
When in this day and age the advisement is made to a woman traveler to dress appropriately, not as a demonstration of reverence, but too avoid “seducing” an innocent man into possibly acting inappropriately toward her, it screams to all females who’s mental acuity is not dampened by a subservient veil :
“IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOU, THEY’LL SAY IT’S YOUR FAULT, NOT THE MAN’S.”
When the mere hint of the human female body’s shape, suggested by clothing other than
a nondescript burqa, is enough to allege that it is the woman who enticed a man of that area into violating her, then any intelligent individual should be able to conclude that there is something dangerously wrong with that region’s men and the hierarchy that guides them.
