Question by It’s a baby!: Anyone used the internet cheapie test strips?
Have any of you ever used the internet cheapie pregnancy “test strips” that they sell online (same kind used in docs offices)? If so, how many days after ovulation or how many days before your period was due did u test positive for pregnancy? Thanks

I bought mine from http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com.
Getting a bfp is all relative to when the egg implants, just because they can detect as early as 7dpo, does not mean that you will get a bfp at 7dpo if you have not implanted yet. I got a very very very faint bfp on them at 10dpo. I did not believe it because it so faint, so I got a much clearer and darker line at 11dpo. I got my BFP 9 days before my missed period, 34 day cycle ovulating CD14. I am 25 weeks pregnant.

No, but I’ve used the cheap Dollar Tree store prenancy test. They work just as good as the EPT or Clear Blue. Used it the day of my missed period..

i have and as another person mentioned, they are no better than the ones from the drugstore because they are all relative to implantation. once the egg implants which can take as long as 12 days for some women, you begin to produce the pregnancy hormone (hCG) and it doubles in amount everyday after that. turns out, i miscalculated and took my test too early. i am still having symptoms and am going to wait until i day after i am supposed to start. with my first child i just knew i was pregnant. i took one of those early tests and got a BFN. i believe it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. a few days later on Saturday, i got a BFP. 3 of them in fact. LOL i would wait.

I used one 14dpo, and there was barely even a line. I almost threw it out and went on with my day, but then i took a digital and it said pregnant. I have heard that some people do really well with them though and get positives 9dpo.
