I am an ESL teacher going to China for the first time, what do I pack, precautions and basically anything that you can think of esp. if you have been there, done that Most appreciated

book a youth hostel room or bed online , in most china big citys has this store. buy a local SIM card with international calling function for you mobile when you get off your plane.you can buy it alongside the street without need id card.bring the pills if you need to take, medecines are not so easy and cheap to get in china.plug converter, or power converter, idk the ESL standard, it is 220V and china standard plug here. do prepare 2 season’s cloths, it is still cool in north and middle china, but warm like summer in shenzhen or sanya,south china.
