Question by Catwoman: How many vacations has Obama taken since becoming the US president?
It seems like every other week, Obama and family are jetsetting away to Hawaii or Chicago, so just how many vacations has Obama taken since becoming president? How many vacations did Bush take?

He’s taken very few. Even the President deserves 2 week’s vacation just like every other worker. And he’s taken far less than that. As opposed to Bush who literally spent more than 1/3 of his Presidency on vacation.
But really, what does it MATTER? Do you really think that in this day and age, the President isn’t just as in touch and “working” even on vacation? Do you think he doesn’t have a brief case with video conferencing to anyone anywhere?

When ever he goes to any city in the US it is not for a vacation

He has a special place that he goes to for that

A vacation is when you get away from work and going to cities is not taking a vacation

And he has only had a couple of weekends at Martha’s Vineyard

He even blew off the funeral of nearly the entire government of one of our closest allies to golf. What a guy!

You are not well informed. In reality, President Obama and all presidents who came before him are never really on vacation. They change locations occasionally but are working. Presidents are always available to problem solve.
George W took 977 days at Crawford and Camp David combined. 1/3 of his 8 years in office. I do not think the President of the United States needs to feel like he can never leave the White House!

scott your way off..hes been on seven vacations and has played over 41 rounds of golf in his 18 months and that’s not including the first lady’s vacations with her daughters who although she pays personal expenses we pay for security and air fare and other expenses..as far as I’m concerned that’s way more than enough and way more than his two weeks not to mention he has had way more interviews than any othe president and some served 8 years…makes you wonder when he has time to be president….thats way more than Bush…get your facts straight

They will never do this. Always comparing with Bush to defend their worshipful master. Fact is – Bush wasn’t any good either! Problem is – the “change” we got was a speed-up of our downfall by BHO instead of a change in direction toward smaller government.

it’s the vacations the golf the the constant parties shopping sprees in paris for michelle trip to spain for michelle to visit a controversial mosque. If i am not mistaken he promised he was going to be different. I believe he just wants to be president for the perks

It’s not worth complaing about he will keep doing what he wants getting all the perks he enjoys. If he keeps his promise which we all know now he won’t. Oh wait, didn’t he just say he was going to run again even tho when he was running for office the 1st time he said he would be a one term president. I guss he needs to take a few more vacations and why not have the tax payer pay for them instead of him. One more comment or question, is his Aunt still in the USA or has she been deported because of her illegal alien status?
